LOVE, when enough is truly ENOUGH
How do you know when it's time to call it quits on a relationship be it friendship or otherwise? Does the hairs standing on your neck says it's time to get the ef outta Dodge? How much are you willing to put up with before saying, "well Margret, it nah work enuh"? Will you, take inventory of what you stand to lose before throwing in the towel; or do you say "kcuf it" now & deal with the consequences later? Are you the kind to just watch things frizzle out @ the ends? My response to all this is, if its worth having it's worth keeping. If it keeps you happy hold on to it with both hands & wrap yuh foot dem roun' it tuh.... I await the responses

Mi agree wit u, I guess 1 have to judge for themself if its worth having. And really if the situation makes u happy then I sey eng on. But do weigh the pros an cons- if the bad times outweigh the good in anything, c'mon now, u aint helping no 1 if u in an ef'ed up mental state. I say love u, deeply an truly. In this self love u'll want the best for u and this self-love (not narcissism now) this self love will help u decipher, and love of your God, your Creator will help u discern....
ReplyDeleteIf we are not able to run our own barbecue because we are still fighting over trivial matters for 5 years such as which grill we must use for the barbecue, then it would make perfect sense to continue anymore barbecue with the person in the coming future. Same way if I find myself in an argument with someone over an issue such as personality differences for so long and we can never reach a conclusion, then it simply means I have to throw in the towel because it is not going anywhere especially if we have been constantly arguing over the same issue for the last 2 or 3 years. The friendship or the relationship cannot continue unless we have a mutual benefit that is, the person is my co-worker in an office.
