A friend in need

"A friend in need is a friend indeed", says a well known proverb. This can be applied to an abundance of harrowing scenarios. Many would argue in today's society, based on our new 'put-self-1st' culture, that yes, "I'm a good friend"; the question I'm putting out there is, to what lengths and 'extra miles' would you go for a good friend? Peter had good intentions when he told Jesus, "I will lay down my life for thy sake" John 13:37. But when it came down to it, he denied being His follower. The point of mentioning that is, we all have our breaking point when we dessert our nearest & dearest of friends, I ask what's yours?
